Negotiations in the Energy Future Holdings bankruptcy case took an about-face on Thursday as papers filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court indicated that Dallas billionaire Ray Hunt’s pursuit of the company gained new momentum in its pursuit of Oncor Electricity Delivery Co.
The Dallas Morning News reported that Energy Future filed papers that it was “working to reach a rapid closure” with a group led by Hunt Consolidated, the real estate and energy conglomerate led by Hunt.
