Bell County’s Human Services Department has more than $150,000 available to help residents who can’t pay their TXU Energy bills, the department’s director, Gary Deutscher, told county commissioners Monday.
The money comes from TXU Energy Aid, which TXU says is the largest bill-payment assistance program among electric service providers in the U.S.
