Sept. 23 — A house had blown up, killing a young girl. Federal investigators combed through the wreckage in northwest Dallas for clues about whether natural gas had caused the fatal February blast and still endangered the neighborhood.
State regulators involved with the case shared different concerns, according to text messages obtained by The Dallas Morning News.
