Houston Chronicle: Colorado oil company plans Permian Basin push

Aug. 3 — Colorado oil company QEP Resources is breaking a six-month hiatus as it plans to make a return to the Permian Basin of West Texas.
The company is seeking permits from the Railroad Commission of Texas to develop 14 new horizontal wells on state-owned lands in Andrews County.
