Dec. 9 — A delay on deciding Energy Secretary Rick Perry’s controversial proposal to keep coal and nuclear power plants from closing appear unlikely after Neil Chatterjee, chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. said Thursday a decision will be made by Dec. 11, meeting the statutory deadline for such proposals.
