A Dallas-based investment group led by billionaire Ray Hunt has pulled the plug on a plan to acquire Texas’ largest electricity utility out of bankruptcy. But that doesn’t mean the group won’t seek another outlet to buy Oncor Electric.
The Hunt group filed a request today asking the Texas Public Utility Commission to end the process through which the group was seeking approval of an $18 billion buyout of Oncor.
