The Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved a specific use permit on Tuesday for a proposed Oncor substation.
The substation on 4th Army Drive would be built across from the city’s dog park on land that Oncor plans to purchase from the city. It would be located between an existing Brazos substation and a wastewater treatment plant.
