Entergy Texas, Inc. has filed a motion with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) to dismiss its own application requesting a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity for one of the four 495 MW generating units at the Union Power Station. If the motion is granted, the unit would officially be granted permission to be acquired by Entergy New Orleans, Inc. for $237 million.
