Jan. 11 — The power goes off at Luminant’s Sandow Power Plant on Thursday but in another way the beat goes on for a bit in the Rockdale economic community. Luminant officials told The Reporter this week approximately 80 employees of the Three Oaks Mine will be retained for up to five years for mine reclamation.
