A scam, involving people who allegedly claim to work for Oncor, has been reported in Lamesa.
“We have had a report of people going door to door, asking citizens for private information,” James (Jim) Clements, area manager for Oncor, told the Press-Reporter on Wednesday afternoon.
Clements said those people have been claiming that they work for Oncor and that they can get the residents better rates for their electricity.
