Direct Energy has availed itself of new rules allowing Texas retail electric providers to assign their non-volunteer POLR responsibilities to an affiliate.
Specifically, for the residential and small non-residential customer classes, CPL Retail Energy, LP has been assigned the POLR responsibility of Direct Energy, LP; First Choice Power Special Purpose, LP; WTU Retail Energy, LP; Bounce Energy, Inc.; and Direct Energy Business, LLC.
