For over a century the State of Texas has led the world in shaping and shifting global energy markets. From the wells on the Eagle Ford Shale of South Texas to the Permian Basin in our own backyard, Texans have long recognized the importance of oil and gas production and its benefit to the economy. Texas’ position as an energy giant has given the State tremendous opportunity for economic development and prosperity and will continue to do so for many generations.
