Denton voters passed a local ban on “fracking,” an oil and gas production process with 59 percent of voters voting “yes” to the ban, with 41 percent voting against. The Texas Oil and Gas Association (TXOGA) wasted no time in filing a request to overturn the vote, saying it violates state law.
